Build your menu and kitchen stations
Sections, items, options and default builds — and which station makes each item.
Sections and items
- In the owner dashboard, open Menu.
- Add sections (Drinks, Food, Breakfast…) and the items in each, with a price and a tax treatment.
- Mark your best sellers for Fast Lane or Favorites so they sit first on the register, always in the same place.
- Your edits are a draft until you press Save menu. Until then the registers keep the old menu; Discard changes throws the draft away.
Options and default builds
Give an item option groups — sizes, milks, extras — with how many a guest must or may choose, each with its own price change. A default build (“start with”) means the item arrives already made the way you usually make it, and staff change only what the guest asks to be different.
Kitchen stations
- Go to Menu → Kitchen stations (owners) and press + Add station for each place food is made — Grill, Fry, Espresso Bar.
- Back in Menu, set each item’s Kitchen station. Items with none go to your default station.
- Press Save stations / Save menu. Registers pick the change up on their next menu refresh.
Changing an item’s station never moves food already being cooked: each ticket keeps the station it was sent to. A station still in use cannot be retired until its items are moved.
Taking an item off for the day (86)
Run out of something? 86 it on the register (Inventory → item availability). The register will not ring it until you put it back on.
